Looking past what I want

Today is our 10th year anniversary, hubby and I. If we were celebrating this a few years ago (or maybe even last year), I would’ve wanted a dinner date or a gift from him. But today’s different. With all that’s happened, I’ve learned to embrace the things we can do for now. I’ve grown up, yay!

Hubby and I are on different places today. He at our house with the eldest and I, here at my aunt’s house with the 2 kids. Why? Because we are (slightly) renovating our room and he’s the one taking care of it. I have so much to be thankful to him for.

I may not be celebrating Thanksgiving because I live in Asia, but like the Americans, I am thankful.
